Ingredients

1 tbsp Olive Oil
400g canned tomatoes (ideally San Marzano)
Pinch of Sea Salt
4 Leaves Fresh Basil
1 Finely Chopped Onion (optional)
2 Cloves of Garlic finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

If you’re using onions and garlic then sautee these in a saucepan. Cook until they are transparent.
Leave the onions and garlic on one side to cool
Add the tomatoes, salt, cooked onions, and garlic to a bowl and give it a good mix
Rip the basil leaves into pieces and add to the sauce
Add 1 tbsp of olive oil and give everything a good stir
